Bugatti Venom Concept by Volado Design

An interesting concept for Bugatti Venom by Volada Design is presented here. Check out the details on concept car and video after the jump.
Bugatti Venom Concept demonstrates the possibility of a conclusive model, which could contribute to the future expansion of Bugatti’s lineup. This new model would compete against high-end sports cars of its class. In addition, the Venom would stir up the market and raise competition with its unique styling, state-of-the-art technology and sophisticated engineering. This vehicle tastefully flows with its clean, sleek lines and curves. The front hosts a set of mildly aggressive bi-xenon headlights and ultra bright LED technology used for the turn signals and daytime running lights. The headlights are finished off with carbon fiber cooling vents that flow toward the center of the vehicle. Large air ducts located below - engineered to maximize cooling when the vehicle reaches high speeds. The lower lip is composed of light carbon fiber to enhance appearance and contribute to delivering additional down force to the vehicle. The signature grill has been restyled to flow gracefully with all surrounding design elements. The side of the vehicle has large air vents flowing alongside the curvature of the door into the bottom portion of the car. The rear of the vehicle gives off a muscularly aggressive presence. The bottom portion of the rear bumper is fully composed of carbon fiber, housing dual titanium exhaust tips. The tail lights are sleek, wide, and contain ultra bright LED technology for lightning fast results. Underneath the lights are both large and small air vents, specifically designed for maximum engine cooling. As a whole, the Bugatti Venom results in a unique blend of emotion, passion and beauty.

Now I am going to show you the same design with some stripes on it.

Incredibly, Arabian supercar startup W Motors has managed to turn what wasinitially a concept into a fully-fledged road rocket in the space of a little more than a year. What’s more incredible still is that W Motors has already announced a second model. Now, W Motors has announced it will be making its European debut at the2014 Top Marques Monaco later this week, where it will showcase its pre-production Lykan Hypersport (otherwise known as Prototype Zero).

In case you’re unfamiliar with W Motors, the company was established in Lebanon in 2012 by a man named Ralph Debbas, who now serves as its CEO. He has assembled a group of engineers to help develop the Lykan Hypersport, and its successor, the Lykan Supersport, and is working closely with companies such as Magna Steyr, Italian design house StudioTorino and reborn Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Viotti to help bring it to production.

The Lykan Hypersport is billed as “Arabia’s first supercar” and in keeping with this statement W Motors plans to build a factory for the car somewhere in the United Arab Emirates in the coming year. W Motors is also based in the Gulf state at present.

The latest performance specs for the Lykan Hypersport include a peak output of 770 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque, a top speed of 245 mph and a 0-62 mph time of less than 2.8 seconds. Such performance puts the car in the same category as exclusive ‘hypercars’ such as the Bugatti Veyron and Koenigsegg Agera R but the Lykan Hypersport blows them out of the water with its pricing, which starts at a staggering $3.4 million.

To justify its lofty pricetag, the Lykan Hypersport has been designed to incorporate jewels and precious metals in its construction, and advanced technologies, including an interactive holographic display system, in its cabin. Furthermore, only seven examples are destined for production, and each owner will have access to a 24-hour global concierge service and receive a custom Cyrus Klepcys watch.

Deliveries of the Lykan Hypersport are scheduled to commence later this year, after which development of the even more potent Lykan Supersport will be in full swing.

“We are so honored to be part of this prestigious event,” Ralph Debbas said in a statement. “I can’t think of a better scene than Top Marques Monaco to introduce our incredible Hypercar to Europe for the first time."

The 2014 Top Marques Monaco gets underway on Thursday, April 17.

Aerodynamic Test Session Results in New Top Speed for Hennessey Venom GT

February 24, 2104—For immediate release
Cape Canaveral, Florida—On February 14, 2014, after extensive aerodynamic testing and data logging to verify the CFD aerodynamic model throughout its designed performance range, the Hennessey Venom GT achieved a top speed of 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h). The test session was conducted at the Kennedy Space Center on the Shuttle Landing Facility’s 3.2-mile runway. Brian Smith, Director of Miller Motorsport Park, experienced test driver and vehicle dynamic engineer, drove the Venom GT through all phases of the testing.
The Hennessey Performance team was able to utilize the Shuttle Landing runway via the Performance Power LLC Space Act Agreement. Performance Power collaborates with manufacturers and race teams alike to utilize the shuttle runway for the purposes of engineering validation, safety, innovative product design, and aerodynamic testing. The Hennessey team, its engineers and test driver worked closely with Johnny Bohmer and the Performance Power Team who made this test possible. A representative from VBox USA, world-renowned maker of engineering data-acquisition systems, was on hand to independently verify and document the vehicle’s aerodynamic performance.
“I knew the car had it in it, but it’s satisfying to officially validate the Venom GT’s high-speed stability,” said Hennessey CEO/partner Don Goldman. “We’re elated to have met our goals of aerodynamic stability and crosswind tolerance.”
Validating the Venom GT’s performance, stability and safety at speed on such an incredible runway is why we came here,” said company founder and president John Hennessey. “I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid. Neil Armstrong was my childhood hero. Even though the astronaut thing didn’t work out for me, I am humbled to have had the opportunity to conduct our testing on the hallowed grounds of the Kennedy Space Center.”
To date, HPE has built and delivered eleven Venom GTs to owners around the world. Each vehicle is built to order and takes six months to complete. As the production run will be limited to a total of just 29 units worldwide.

FERRARI F80 SUPERCAR CONCEPT
Ferrari F80 Supercar Concept 0

Most automotive enthusiasts are always looking for the next big thing, and Italian designer Adriano Raeli is no exception. Although Ferrari debuted their LaFerrari not too long ago, Raeli thought it was due time to pull the curtain back on his Ferrari F80 Supercar.
Sure it’s nothing more than a concept, but the idea is certainly one worth taking a look at. The vehicle will be powered by a hybrid drivetrain that pairs a KERS system with a combustion engine to produce 1,200 horsepower. While this sounds pretty awesome, the manner in which it’s handled might ruffle more than a few feathers. The Art Center College of Design graduate has ditched the iconic V12 in favor of a 900 horsepower twin-turbo V8 setup (paired with the 300 horsepower KERS system). The vehicle’s proposed weight of 1,763 pounds means the 2-seater would sprint to 62 mph in just 2.2 seconds with a top speed of 310 miles per hour. While many of us would have liked to see this thing powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine, it’s worth noting that the legendary Ferrari F40 was also powered by the same twin-turbocharged V8 power plant. Not to mention this thing is drop dead gorgeous.
